How Biomat® works

Tourmaline

Tourmaline naturally emits far-infrared rays (FIR) and negative ions, a phenomenon tied to its piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties, which generate a subtle electric charge—measured at 0.06mA when its poles are connected, as discovered in Japanese research (Lang, 1965; Nakamura et al., 1994). This energy resonates at 8–14 microns, the same frequency as water, creating a gentle resonance absorption that mirrors the body’s natural rhythms, a connection that feels both grounding and uplifting (Vatansever & Hamblin, 2012).

Sacred Geometry

Hidden within the layers of the pad is a sacred symbol known to many as the Hideo pattern. This geometric pattern resembles a lotus in full bloom.
